Shiawase no mahou

I don't know why, I just feel incredibly happy. Probably because I got to meet some of my college friends again, made even more new friends and chatted with strangers like I enjoyed having small talk (which strangely enough, I do!).

There's something about talking that makes you feel a part of something, something big. Maybe it's because beack when we were in high school, our social circle was so small due to it's own cliques and things like that. Upon entering college, it's like entering a whole new social circle, with no boundaries. You can make friends with anyone and anywhere.

See, I chatted with a salesperson, had a small talk with a lady who's waiting for the same bus as I am, joked with a lady who was offering some promotion on Cinnabons to me and teased some of my college classmates for the heck of it.

Then there's our talk on our results (a B+ for my Critical Thinking and B's for Intro to Mass Comm and Writing and Referencing) and SPM results (people gasped and congratulated me for my results) and our incredibly complicated new scheduele in which I'm still struggling to understand.

I'm taking 5 subjects this term. Sociology, Media Research Methods, Public Speaking, Public Relations and Malaysian Studies. I could skip Malaysian Studies to another term, but I didn't like leaving things to another time when I could do it now (besides, things might get harder next term, in which I heard I'll be learning Radio and Photo Ethics ^.^).

Anyway, I was really busy last week during the holidays (so I apologise for not being online and replying you guys sms-es). Monday was the only day to myself, technically. That night, I was sent to my aunt's house to take care of my baby cousins until Wednesday. I pity my 4-year-old cousin, he has 17 pages of homework on learning how to write and 5 books to read during the whole holidays! That's ridiculous! What a waste of childhood... @.@

Then on Thursday I went out and met Miss Lynn with Azween at KLCC. We watched 'Million Dollar Baby' and I can tell you, that movie's really good! But it's worth watching once since, as Miss Lynn puts it, "It's an emotional roller-coaster ride." It was nice meeting Miss Lynn again, plus chatting with Azween.

On Friday, I had to photocopy my SPM results and get back to school for Puan Robiah to sign. But instead, I got the dreaded Puan Mahani, who treated me much nicely than the time when she gave me my results. >.< Later, I went to Kasturi to pass my signed, photocopied results so that I can get RM80 from them later (Oooo money!!! ^.^).

At that night, me and my sister signed up for a special 24 hour fasting in the church (SFX), plus a special pilgrimage, walking from Pantai to St. John's Cathedral in the heart of KL. I was in SFX at 8 pm, we watched 'The Passion of Christ' around 11 (I know I said I'd never watch it because it's gory, but I can tell you, the movie will grip your heart so I was kinda glad I watched it), we had prayers after that and had our walk at 5 am and reached around 8 am. So yeah, we stayed up the whole night but luckily we were allowed to go home and rest after that and to return the next day to celebrate Palm Sunday. It was a really great experience really, and I wouldn't mind going for it again next year!

Eh? Yeah, I fasted, Had 3 slices of bread and some water for 24 hours. @.@ Left a stale taste in my mouth, but it's all for the sake of the Lord!

And yeah, I'm invited to LifeLine!!! ^.^ Isn't that great?

Well, that's all I can say for now. Enjoy the Holy Week guys!

God bless!
